PHASE I&II SURFACE WATER TREATMENT PLANT UPGRADES

AWC provided design, surveying, and construction project management services for the Phase I&II Surface Water Treatment Plant (SWTP) Upgrades project. This project is an approximately $36.1-million project constructed in two phases.
Project History
This project includes the construction of a new 20-MGD expansion to the City’s existing 20-MGD SWTP. The improvements included a 3.8-MG clearwell; six (6) new high service pumps; raw water & reservoir pumps; new electrical facilities; new treatment train including rapid mix basin, clarifier, chlorine dioxide contact, filters, and sludge thickener; site improvements; yard piping; and other ancillary equipment for a complete system.
